The concert "Take Five: Jazz In Venezuelan Style" will premiere at the Midtown Arts and Theater Center of Houston on September 30, 2022

Venezuelan jazz vocalist and songwriter Raquel Cepeda will perform on September 30 2022 at the Midtown Arts and Theater Center of Houston, premiering her newest concert: “Take Five: Jazz In Venezuelan Style”. A new project aiming to present the beauty and richness of Venezuelan music from the perspective of jazz.

Cepeda joins her forces for this concert with the outstanding pianist, composer and arranger William Sigismondi, as well as top jazz musicians including bassist Thomas Helton, drummer Adriano Santos, and saxophonist Ernesto Vega.

The program will include beautiful pieces from the Venezuelan repertoire that incorporate the dynamics, harmonies and the improvisational character of jazz music, as well as new compositions Cepeda and Sigismondi.

Take Five is a concert to reach the heart and senses of all those who love fine music in Houston.
