Jazz singer and songwriter Raquel Cepeda presents Jazz on Valentine's Concert 2024, an event to celebrate love, romance, and friendship through the power of music. The concert will take place on Wednesday February 14 at 8:00 pm at the MATCH Theater. 
 
Jazz on Valentine's Concert, now on its 8th edition, has become over the years one of the top activities to enjoy Valentine's Day in Houston, a musical aphrodisiac for mind, body, and soul.
 
Featuring a repertoire of classic jazz standards and original compositions, with arrangements that incorporate sounds and flavors from around the world in a refined and unique style, the singer and her band will reach the hearts of the beautifully diverse Houston audience in an inspiring evening of sound and message. 
 
Cepeda will perform in the company of her jazz septet composed by Barry Sames on piano, Thomas Helton on double bass, Adriano Santos on drums, Cassio Duarte on percussion, Salvador Velasco on trumpet, and Ernesto Vega on sax. Cepeda is originally from Venezuela, and her band is composed of top musicians form far reaching geographies, including USA, Brazil, Mexico and Cuba.
